Sun & Beaches

Follow the wind over the waters to the shores of Isla Espiritu Santo where white sand beaches lie untouched in the desert sun. Swim with sea lions and watch for Moorish idols and butterfly fish as you cool off on a snorkeling adventure. Wander among cardén cactus and palo adán trees with your Naturalist, then set off in search for whale and other marine mammals. From the deck of your yacht, watch for pods of dolphins, fin, sperm, blue and pilot whales that call these waters home.

Kayak, go sailing, wakeboard, swing on a rope into the cooling waters, beachcomb, scan through seemingly never-ending fields of seashells, listen to whale songs with the yacht's hydrophone and watch the underwater symphony via our cable-supported submersible camera.

Or, simply relax in the cushioned lounge chairs on deck with your favorite drink and book.  Or accompany your crew to a beautiful, uninhabited beach where they pamper you with ice-cold beverages, snacks, lounge chairs, towels and whatever whim the warm breezes set off.  Later, back onboard, join your Expedition Leader/Naturalist to identify the fish, shells or other discoveries made during your outings.

Our inaugural season onboard the 36-guest Safari Explorer will blaze a new sea trail among the Maui Country group of islands (Molokai, Lanai and Maui itself) plus the Big Island.  You'll learn the legend and lore of the islands from historians and experts. No other expedition-style vessels cruise in Hawaii because they carry too many passengers, which keeps them out of some of the islands or they must keep to strictly-timed port calls.  Our Hawaii combines cove-to-cove cruising with up-close wildlife viewing and cultural experiences.
